Although primarily a tempura shop, the kitchen earns high marks for the freshness and quality of its sashimi. The limited-quantity Tendon and Sashimi Set pairs a tempura bowl featuring 2 shrimp and 3 seasonal vegetables with a daily assortment of raw fish, making it an appealing choice for diners wanting both styles in one meal. Another daytime highlight, the Tai Gozen, features red sea bream dressed with fragrant sesame soy sauce, accompanied by weekly rotating tempura, small side dishes, and dashi-rich miso soup for a balanced lunch.
